WHY I’M NOT PRETTY

An audition becomes a portal into a woman’s subconscious, where every cruel message about her body materializes as a cage around her. Bound, silenced, and diminished, she joins countless others who carry the same weight. When she finally rises, dance becomes her language of defiance and freedom. Why I’m Not Pretty is a visceral exploration of how beauty standards confine us, and how breaking free can transform not just one woman, but us all.
